About This Workshop

In the Photography 101 for Little Creatives Workshop, professional photographer Nicole Bedard provides industry knowledge and techniques to your child in order to show them the creative possibilities found in photography. In the workshop, Nicole shares basic photography knowledge about Light, Composition and Proper Camera Handling. Along with 6 techniques that she uses and has taught her own young child. Additionally, your child will go beyond the photo with 6 photography projects. This workshop is only offered a few times per year.

Module 1

Basic Photography Principles

In this module your budding photographer will learn about Light, Composition and Camera/Body Positioning. Nicole will discuss each core principle and reference them throughout the workshop.

Module 2

Photography Techniques

In this module your budding photographer will watch Nicole and her son walk through six skills. She will cover techniques such as Details, Framing, Look Up, Around the World and Foreground. These are all techniques that she uses as a professional photographer and will instantly enhance your child's photography.

Module 3

Creative Photography Projects

In module three Nicole provides six creative photography projects that will take your budding photographer beyond the photo taken. They will enjoy projects such as Stop-Motion Video, Scavenger Hunt, Family Tree, How-to Make A Pinhole Camera, Storyteller and Food Photography.
